I began teaching at North Lamar ISD in 2007.  I have previously taught 4^th and 5^th Grade Math.  I am currently beginning my 5^th year as a 6^th Grade Math Teacher.  

Prior to my educational career, I have 8 years of experience in the field of banking as well as 4 years of experience in the medical nursing profession. 

I have been married for 18 years and have 5 childen.  Our daughter Kortni is an Elementary Teacher at Noth Hopkins.  Our daughter Audra is currently attending Physical Therapy School at TEXAS Womens University.  Our son Weston is a 2021 Graduate NLHS and will attend College this Fall.  Our daughter Claudia is a Sophmore and Cheerleader at NLHS.  Our son Wrylee is a 6^th Grader at NL.  We have 3 dogs and 11 horses.  Our favorites include cheering, rodeoing, roping, bronc riding, and miniature horse training.
