THEATRE/DRAMA TEACHER
I graduated from Ozark High School in Ozark, MO in 1999. After being a stay-at-home mom for many years, I went back to college and got my associate’s degree from PJC and my bachelor’s degree from TAMU-Commerce.
I am certified to teach 4-12 English, and 4-8 general education.
I believe that everyone should always be a learner and am constantly working on improving my skills as a teacher.
I am excited to join the NL team! This will be my first year teaching at the North Lamar district. For the past nine years, I have taught at Paris ISD as a middle school English teacher.
This year, I will be teaching Theater Arts at Stone Middle School! I am VERY EXCITED about this opportunity to let my passion for the theater spread to students.
I have been married to my husband, Jeff Rogers, for over 20 years! We have two amazing daughters who will be in TN this year for college. One is a sophomore, and one is a freshman. My oldest graduated from Chisum High School, and my youngest graduated from Paris High School.
I love to read and write. My dream is to one day write a book and get it published. BUT, as my family reminds me, I need to actually make time to write to accomplish this goal!
