As office assistants, students support school staff by answering phones, delivering messages, organizing materials, and assisting with daily operations. Library assistants help with book checkouts, shelving, and maintaining a welcoming learning environment. North Lamar ISD's Pre-Athletics elective is exclusively offered to 6th-grade students who are looking to build a strong foundation for future success in school sports. This course is more rigorous than traditional Physical Education, providing students with the skills, conditioning, and mindset needed to excel in the 7th-grade Athletics program.
Students in Pre-Athletics engage in sport-specific drills, strength training, agility exercises, and teamwork activities. The program emphasizes discipline, work ethic, and perseverance, helping students develop both physical and mental toughness.
