I graduated from Texarkana Arkansas High School in 1993.
I graduated from Texas A&M-Commerce in 1998.
I have a B.S. in Kinesiology and Health.
My teaching certifications include Secondary Mathematics, Secondary Physical Education, Secondary Health and Middle School Social Studies.
My philosophy for education is that all students should have a quality learning environment where they can reach their full potential. Students need to develop essential academic skills on which to build lifelong learning. By doing this, students can be effectively prepared for the challenges of the future.
I am starting my 22nd year in education and all of them have been at North Lamar.
I am currently teaching 8th Grade Math and Algebra at Stone Middle School. I am also the Middle School Boys’ Athletic Coordinator while coaching 8th Grade Football and JV Baseball.
I have been married to Sarah Tribbey for 23 years. She is a hairstylist at Hair Works here in Paris. We have two daughters, Coral, who is 21 years old, and Berkley, who is 14. Coral is attending Texas Tech University and Berkley is in the 9th grade at North Lamar.
I enjoy sports, playing guitar and the outdoors. Wreck ‘em Tech!!!
